Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson teamed up to create this new 3D film entitled The Adventures of Tintin. Yes — it’s a Spielberg film guys, so you do know what to expect — only the best! Those who are going to watch The Adventures of Tintin online need to know that this film is actually based on a series of comic books that were made by Belgian artist Herge (Georges Remi). If you are planning to watch The Adventures of Tintin online, it would also help to know that the film has actually already been released in Brussels in October 22, 2011. Also, if you have already went to watch The Adventures of Tintin online, you would be surprised to know that Steven Spielberg got rights to produce the film right after the death of the author in 1983. He then opted to re-option it for 2002. Then they started filming in 2008 for an original screening schedule in 2010. Unfortunately that did not push though because of some production issues. The film was reset to be shown on 2011 instead.

If you are going to watch The Adventures of Tintin online, you would realize that aside from, being produced and directed by two of the biggest names in film creation, it was also funded by Paramount Pictures who provided 30 million dollars for preproduction. It is already possible to watch The Adventures of Tintin online as early as now because it was already released last October.

For those who already went to watch The Adventures of Tintin online, it might seem a bit complicated and difficult to absorb due to the way the comic series was compressed to fit in a feature film. Critics who already did watch The Adventures of Tintin online gave similar feedbacks. However, since the target audience is obviously the younger people, the way the story was told may not count too much.

The film stars Jamie Bell as Tintin. The role was actually originally given to Thomas Sangster who let go of the project due to the delay in filming in 2008. It was actually Peter Jackson who suggested Bell for the role after working with him in his remake of King Kong. The role of Captain Haddock was given to Andy Serkis. He played the role of Gollum in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and King Kong in the 2005 remake. Having such history, Serkis even joked about getting the role of Tintin’s dog Snowy. It was however not possible because animation for Snowy was done traditionally. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost played the role of the identical detectives: Thompson and Thompson. Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine was played by Daniel Craig. He has already worked with Speilberg in Munich. Tony Cuarran played the role of Lt. Delacourt, the ally of Tintin. Toby Jones played Aristides Silk, a pick pocket. Gad Elmaleh as Omar Ben Salaad. Mackenzie Crook and Daniel Mays play Ernie and Allan the smugglers and Ron Bottitta played the Unicorn’s look out.

The film will be released on the 23rd of December this year. Be sure to check out the trailer.
