Apparently the film has already been shown last year at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival. The film revolves around Jeff, a loser who still lives in his mother’s house. One day, his mother asked him to get a bottle of glue for her. Jeff, being a big fan of M. Night Shyamalan’s film The Signs, have a very “everything is connected” way of looking at things. On his way to getting his mother’s glue, he had some kind of epiphany. Somehow, he realized that he does have a purpose in life. The articles did not mention what purpose it is. But this is where his adventure began. He saw this day as the day to fulfil his destiny. I am also not sure how Jeff’s brother, Pat got involved in the story. But along the way, the brothers got together and saw Pat’s wife getting into a car with another man. The brothers followed the car and found out that the wife really is cheating on Pat. Eventually, the wife apologizes but again, the write ups did not mention how it went, if she got forgiven or not. On the other hand, their mother is getting some attention from someone at work. This is the only part of the story that is a bit clear. Their mother apparently is the lighter side of the story. Towards the end of the film, the whole family is going to meet in a bridge and there the story would conclude.

The film is set to be released March 16, 2012 in theaters worldwide.

The movie is based on a novel entitled A Princess of Mars. It is one book in the Barsoom series of author Edgar Rice Burroughs. The novel was originally printed as a magazine in 1912. Then it was turned into a book in 1917. There are 10 more books in this series. So, we can say that if the feedback for this film is positive, then we might be seeing a sequel in the future. I am keeping my fingers crossed for that. I think I would like to have another series to follow after Harry Potter and this is a very promising one. I grew up with Harry Potter and now that the series is over, I need something new to follow, something that would keep the kid in me.

The book is about John Carter, a war veteran who magically gets transported to planet Mars. Mars is known as Barsoom to its inhabitants. Not long after John Carter arrived, he realized that the planet is in danger of dying. This is due to the loss of its atmosphere. John then realizes that he should act to make things right. He made an effort to unite all the intelligent life in Barsoom so that they could be saved from extinction.

The film is set to be released on the 9th of March in 2012. The movie is said to have had a budget of 200 million dollars. The film is Andrew Stanton’s debut in making a live action film. He used to work with Pixar in the movies Finding Nemo and WALL-E. The movie stars Lynn Collins, Thomas Haden Church, Samantha Morton, Ciaran Hinds, Mark Strong and Willem Dafoe.

In the end of the first movie, it was shown that Brendan, Josh and their tour guide Anita was released out of the center of the Earth by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. They were however able to get a few precious stones out from the middle of the earth.

This new movie will star Josh Hutcherson once again. With him is Dwayne Johnson who played the role of Hank Parsons, Josh’s step dad, Michael Caine as Alexander Anderson, Josh’s granddad, Vanessa Hudgens as Kailai, Josh’s love interest, Luis Guzman as Gabato, Kailai’s father and Kristin Davis as Elizabeth Anderson, Josh’s mother.

The film promises to be an experience full of intrigue, deception and lessons to be learned. Salient in the movie is the presence of Judi Dench’s character as J. Edgar Hoover’s mother who was always around to give advice. Also, the movie trailer showed an angle about the protagonist’s sexuality. Shown in the trailer is the rumoured affair with his number 2 man, Clyde Tolson (Armie Hammer). However, only a brief part of the trailer was dedicated to that aspect of Hoover’s life. What we are curious to know is the length at which the movie dared to explore on this alleged homosexuality.

The director, the actors and even the script writer of this film are all known to have been nominated or even won awards. Movie critique, Rebecca Murray ventured a guess that Warner Bros would be promoting this movie when awards time comes.

On paper the movie Jennifer’s Body looks like it has it all: a script by more-hip-than-thou Diablo Cody, a star who turns grown men into babbling idiots, and a director whose promising debut won the Director’s Award at Sundance in 2000. But the movie is a little like making dinner from bratwurst and ice cream and guacamole: on their own they can be awesome, but together they’re not all that appetizing.

A number of reviews – some leaning positive and some leaning negative – have raised the issue of “What exactly is this movie about?” Is it about two best friends who’ll do most anything for each other? Is it about a teenage man-eater who turns into a literal man-eater? Is it about the ultimate outcome of any “sexually powerful teenage girl” fantasy carried to its extreme?

Cody brings her trademark clever, if unrealistic dialogue, her jabs at pop cultural poseurs, and plenty of suggestion of carnality to this movie without really delivering any substance. And it isn’t quite enough to hold the film together as either a dark comedy or as a horror film. It’s not funny enough for the former, and not scary enough for the latter.

The lead role of Jennifer is the perfect role for actress Megan Fox: she’s hot, she knows it, and she’ll wield it to her advantage to get away with as much as possible for as long as possible. Amanda Seyfried, as Jennifer’s best friend, does her part well considering the material she had to work with. But putting a pair of glasses on a blonde beauty like Seyfried doesn’t render her nerdy or unattractive, even standing next to Fox.

Karyn Kusama, the gifted director of 2000′s Girlfight, also tries hard, but the movie’s ambivalence over whether it’s a horror movie or a dark comedy was apparently too much for even a very talented director to overcome. The overall impression is that each of the three legs holding up this cinematic table (writer, director, lead) perhaps thought that the other two would be enough to overcome each one’s particular weaknesses.

Will all three be forgiven and move forward from here with their careers intact? Of course. Plenty of award winning writers and directors have an occasional blemish on their resume, and there are plenty of men young and old who will sit through anything as long as they get to ogle Megan Fox.

Will the writer, director, and lead actress learn from the shortcomings of this movie? Does it matter? Fans of Cody and Fox will no doubt await with bated breath whatever comes next in their careers.
